I was concerned that I would lose one, but I actually can visually keep track of what's missing and am able to return it to my rack right away. It also helps to have it between our sink and refrigerator. Makes prep. a little easier for me.Yvonnehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15709540847076291191noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5407229727718844956.post-81765375707913984212013-08-11T22:16:45.401-10:002013-08-11T22:16:45.401-10:00Cool idea! You could make a magnetic caddy, but you would still have to search for the spoons within that caddy. If you are comfortable adding magnets to the spoons themselves, that might be another possibility. I didn't like having the measuring spoons and cups all linked together, because I'd get them dirty together, and I'd have to wash them together unnecessarily. :)Yvonnehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15709540847076291191noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5407229727718844956.post-63592069421763965662013-08-01T01:42:56.735-10:002013-08-01T01:42:56.735-10:00Great idea! It may work to just glue the magnets to the wood, as well. If not, please feel free to contact me, and maybe we could problem-solve together.Yvonnehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15709540847076291191noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5407229727718844956.post-66273155878106716282013-07-31T16:59:14.454-10:002013-07-31T16:59:14.454-10:00Thank you, Joanne. :) I used the Dremel. It turned out to be very important to make sure the magnets sat level, so all of them could be used to support the weight of the cups, in particular. :)Yvonnehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15709540847076291191noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5407229727718844956.post-82011900988598273012013-07-31T15:43:51.091-10:002013-07-31T15:43:51.091-10:00Great idea! Great organizing idea! I need to do something like this for my measuring cups. Did you use a large drill bit, or your Dremel to drill the space for the magnets? Also, I like the graphics for the tools, materials and process steps. :)JoanneShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01398498370493935479noreply@blogger.com
